We are a member of the Peoria Anti Hunger Coalition. Our food pantry feeds people in the Northern Peoria County.
Our pantry supplies everything from freezer foods, to canned goods, to toilet paper and diapers.
We are always accepting donations to help keep our pantry stocked. If you would like to donate (either monetarily or food donations), please contact Dani at dani.pumc@gmail.com.
Pathways at PUMC
Pathways is a post-secondary program designed for 18-22 year old students who have completed their graduation requirements at Dunlap High School. Instruction focuses on independent living, self-determination, vocational training, service learning, and community-based learning skills. Pathways students are out in the community daily, taking part in shopping, working, service-learning, volunteerism, and exploring leisure opportunities. Students are also part of the STEP program, which is a contracted program through the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services. Students work closely with the STEP coordinator and either obtain jobs at job training sites or paid jobs within the community.
Holiday Food Baskets
Twice a year, in addition to our weekly food pantry, we offer a Christmas and Easter Food Basket to our pantry recipients. These baskets include all the fixings for a holiday meal. If you would like to donate to these baskets or would like to help with assembly and and pick up, please send us a message!
